holer, anyone can disagree with my opinions on the Hawks. They can trash Toews and call Kane every name in the book. I'll even happily engage in debates about my knowledge or lack thereof (depending on your perspective) of the game. Where I draw the line is racist remarks and generalizations about any group of people. I think that shows a real lack of class and character and class in any "forum", pun intended.

I doubt even if I was drunk out of my mind that I would make racist remarks even if joking.  I will trash talk, but not make racist remarks.

Note, I think I was one of the first to congradulate Hawk fans on winning the cup, and I was very happy to see the cup go to a hockey town.  The nearly 1 million (or however many showed-up) for the cup parade was a testament to Hawks nation.

Just to be clear, none of that was directed your way juskay. We may not always agree, but you have always been respectful and I appreciate that, even if I think you're crazy for thinking that the Hawks would miss the playoffs.

As for the hawks missing players, the fact that they are scoring near the same pace they did last season (3.2 gpg to 3.3 last season) tells me that they don't really miss the forwards they lost. Seeing as how the defense corps is the same, my two theories on their significant increase in goals against are that 1, the chemistry on the team just isn't there and they have alot of youngsters who need to work on their play in their own zone and 2, the goaltending they got from Niemi last season was not there until crawford gained the team's confidence.

I suppose we'll see how it goes from here on out.

Hawks will make the playoffs and it's not even in question.  Too bad only nickhead had balls enough to take my bet.

I still have a smile on my face from how bad the flyers beat up on the senators... carter fought, giroux fought, and Hartnell, O'Donnell, Shelley fought simultaneously.  Pronger is back from missing 13 games and just smirked the whole time.
