to all former djs...id like to see 50 songs for a free form format with the heave emphasis on rock and roll / rock...you know what i mean...it would be our pleasure to see this....
laramie bob..this is your chance to be back on the air.

You're quite kind Dino, TY. But I have to decline the opportunity.

I just really don't have the time right now to compile a 50 song list. Partly because I'd find it necessary to sequence them and likely break them down into 20 -30 minute "sets", likely sub-themed and probably defined in some manner.
I'd rather spend my time actually listening then making lists.

Here's a gift in return....... find a LIVE Wilco show somewhere (on the internets) and listen to it start to finish, front to back, including the encore(s).

Last night, I listened to WILCO (at the) Tucson Convention Center Sept. 19, 2012 gig. SPLENDID!
A bunch of standout versions of classics like "Sunken Treasure" early on in the set, and a real smoking version of Impossible Germany, and a killer Laminated Cat (Not for the Season), PLUS Handshake Drugs, Rising Red Lung, Radio Cure, War on War,I'm The Man Who Loves You and a 5 song Encore that kicked off with Hummingbird before winding down with The Lonely One.

I bet you can find it online.
That's how I initially got the files.
Then I put them in a decent audio mixing PC, edited them all as best I could, adjusted levels where appropriate and burned it onto discs (2).
Works great with a campfire and a few good Pale Ales.
