Brought up http://www.whatifsports.com/HBD/Pages/Popups/PlayerProfile.aspx?pid=3425153 as a defensive replacement when http://www.whatifsports.com/HBD/Pages/Popups/PlayerProfile.aspx?pid=2180396 was injured.  Now that he's ready to come off the DL, should I see how long Graham keeps hitting (at time of post .417 against righties, where he is platooning) or go back to the better rated guy who is still having a solid year?

There really is no "hot" hand but I have trouble removing a player who's hitting from the line-up.   I'd probably bring back the better glove just because of the glove.

Are you ready for another summer of Brett Favre speculation?

As Bart Scott once said "CAN'T WAIT!!!"

Where does Louisville's dominance rank among teams you've seen in non-'tard leagues?

7/7/2011 11:58 AM
I think "dominance" is an inproper label.  I'd use "dumbass luck" and rank it right near the top.

If Ryan Braun's injury prevents him from playing in the All Star Game, should the Brewers send Mark Kotsay in his place, reasoning that the NL team could use some veteran leadership?

I'm pretty sure the Brewers are represented even without Braun.   Just let the rest of the team graze on some cheese during the break.

A report this morning says that 27% of Wisconsin's adults are obese. Are you surprised it's so low?
7/7/2011 12:44 PM
I'm sure they transposed those numbers.   Or the report is based on some WI scale of obese.

Are you always this bitter when you screw up a season and can't find anyone else to blame?

Yes.

Newsweek lists Boise as the US city with the most dangerous sun exposure... would you have guessed that?

I'm pretty hot.

Both of these happened in my son's game last night:

1)  A pitcher comes into a game in relief.  His first four pitches are all to the same batter.  Four swings and misses.  No foul balls/tips.  No umpire's time out on any of the pitches.  No screw up on the umpire's part in losing track of the count.  Yet the batter is not out and continues to bat.  How is this possible?

2)  Have you ever seen a double play on a walk?
