When you spend the last 20 minutes figuring out whether a 3 catcher system would work, is that overthinking things a bit?

Is 20 minutes of intense DIAH thiniing more or less than 5 seconds of a normal person's thinking?

if i transfer a little cash to player payroll, does it increase the next season's 'cap'?
meaning i want to trade for a player with a high contract. i can make the dollars work for this season, but without having the other owner take on some salary for next season, i'll be over budget so i can't trade for said player.
if it does increase the cap, by how much?
