jimrome76: It wasn't immediate. It happened gradually. It was announced. There is a new post on the topic that may help clarify the update for you. An obvious clue that there was a flaw in the engine would be the 80 HR guys. That kinda signifies something is screwy in the engine when the game is supposed to mirror MLB. Also, there was a significant drop in HR's lately in MLB, and the game has been corrected to reflect that. A good indicator of what the stats are supposed to be is what the stats in MLB truly are. That is what they are simulating. It's no different, as previously noted, as when they changed the pitching engine. Obviously, teams designed on pitching got hit harder than teams focused on hitting back then. Did I cover all the ground you were looking to cover?
