It didn't.... its just another way for hawks fans to rationalize losing a 25yr old 6'5" 265lb D/RW with 41 points in 47 games because of poor team budgeting. I would take byfuglien on the flyers any day. Sharp is 29 and the only thing he has been consistent at is scoring under 70 points a season. The hawks have a winning record yet Sharp is constantly on the ice when the other team scores.... check out his +/-.

I'm not saying I don't like Sharp.... but don't treat him like a perennial all-star. He's not.

I'm confused how we beat Detroit today without the Mighty Buff.  I'm sure it was a fluke, as Buff was our heart and soul.  Silly to think that having two of the top ten players in the world would help us.

2 of the top 10 players in the world? You are delusional. I'm not even sure if you are talking about Kane toews or Keith since none of them are in the top 10. Richards is a better player than toews and I would never call him top 10. Are any hawks even on the leaderboards?

And the article that you recommended equated +/- with how "consistently" good a player is..... so why can't I simple say that Sharp is on the ice an awfully lot when other teams have scored.
