No we don't need an extra round because we start drafting three times in the 16th round, so we have 26 picks in 18 rounds.
That is correct. We used to do THREE rounds of 2 picks per round and TWO rounds of 3 picks per round. To add a 26th, I switched ot tp TWO rounds of 2 picks per round and THREE rounds of 3 picks per round.
Which, as I look at it now, seems to me to give a huge advantage to guys drafting at the bottom of the draft. They get the 1st shot at double picks, and they get the 1st shot at triple picks.
That is partially why I asked about the additional round...
U see you point guys, but it's too late to change it this draft. How would you suggest I do it next draft to get 26 picks without the draft taking 20 days?

At this point in the draft, I also wouldn't exactly call it a HUGE advantage though.
Avoid multiple picks. One pick per round.

I got no problem with a 3 week draft. In fact the draft is more fun than the season, so no need to rush it in my book.
