Yeah- I live in MD, but went to Davidson. My true allegiance is to Davidson- but I'm a homer when it comes to every game save when the Cats play UMD (which has actually occurred the last two years). UNC looks awesome this year, but I'm hoping Davidson can hang in there. Steph Curry may be an NBA player one day- he'll need 30 to keep it respectable.... and even then it may not be.

i think he is pretty darn good for them... not sure we will destroy them, but not too concerned about losing it.

See, here's two differentiated G's... the defensive stopper/mccabemi special and the REB/DEF hybrid. Obviously, I'd like Rhea more with an FR after his name and the digits of his WE reversed, but these are both fun G's to have around. He has two Sophomore bigs, so he won't hear my normal speech about making sure you land a 50+ REB in every class... oh nevermind, I guess he will.
I have to respond... I would like Rhea more also, if he was a frosh... but I really wanted a good PG with DEF, as my two current PGs are not good DEF. Bracewell will be a good backup, but will not have a chance to start with Finn there... Maybe I haven't been around as long, but you guys really place the emphasis on REB.. My best REB Bergholz comes off the bench...I don't really get anything out of him, other than REB, so i'll just have to live with his 14 minute/8 REB avg..Plus he's a senior, so i don't have to deal with him next year. Believe me, next year, though... I'm shopping for a REB PF. You gotta love Locke though. He's a survivor on that island. Kinda lucked into him too.
And, guess who's #2 in the conf in team rebounding...

NC- you willing to give us a LITTLE respect now?
11/14/2007 9:18 PM
sure. they are a tough team. would probably finish in the top half of the ACC.

Why isn't Goucher ranked? Great job by the Tiger there.
11/20/2007 9:13 PM
Goucher isn't ranked because they lost to the Hood. That's not considered a respectable loss, so they're penalized. More of a slight against me than against Goucher.

I thought things were a little screwy too with Catholic ranked, and me not, at the start of conf play. But i guess I laid an egg against Hood and that messed it up.

Still, Goucher getting no votes is absurd.

it's all prestige

Polls are screwy. That's why they invented the RPI.

I think this deserves to be posted as a reminder on how screwy the SimEngine has been this season. York was a 31 point favorite.
