Why do I suck at this game so much?

Could be many reasons.  Maybe you don't understand the ratings and how they work together.  Maybe you understand the ratings and pay way too much for the ones you want thus leaving yourself with no depth.  Maybe you can't acquire the players you want.   Maybe you're just dumb.   Etc, etc.

I don't think WI lakes can count.  I expect the death toll to rise.

Unfortunately, the sacrifice bunt setting works the same on all players(IMO) so it's set at "average" or "infrequent" on all my teams.   The double switch setting is used based on my bench.   If I have good bench players(those who can hit), it's a little higher.

I always rest my fake players for the playoffs without concern over awards.  However, I brought Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Jamey Cambridge back for part of a season so he could get 400 homers.

The U is fucked but they're not getting the death penalty.   Too much money.  The NCAA is all about the money.

Should the NCAA just abolish the death penalty?  Because seriously, if the allegations against the U are true (and there seems to be a lot of corroborating evidence), how can they NOT get the death penalty?  And if you don't apply the death penalty in this situation, then when do you apply it?

Probably.   There's too much money with too many "collateral influences".   If the U gets the death penalty, how does that affect the ACC?   How does it affect the ACC's television contracts?   As evidenced by SMU, the death penalty wrecks a school's program for years.    At the end of the day, the administration at the U can deny knowledge whereas SMU could not.  I think they'd be full of **** if they said they had no idea but they can.  And the money-grubbin' NCAA, who allowed Newton and the OSU 5 to play in bowl games, will say "Well, we can see how you didn't know" and slap them with a USC-like penalty.

Since we're on the NCAA . . . what's your take on the NFL's decision on the Terrelle Pyror issue?

The supplemental draft should be abolished.    It seems to me that the players eligible are only eligible because they're no longer eligible for college football.   That makes it feel like a "reward" for doing something wrong.   Of course, I'm not sure any sports draft should happen.   If you go to Harvard, you decide what law firm you'll join.   If you go to Clemson, you decide what cow you'll ****.   If you go to the U, you decide which convenience stores you'll rob.  But, if you're an athlete, someone else decides where you'll go to work.
