I don't think that would be fair, not every owner has access to the net all day long, or time to do it. Besides I think that would become way too obsessive.

Knowing the opponent's game plan in the nba sim isn't a big deal.

'less effort = same advantage as more effort' is what is not fair

this is America right? not to draw too grand a parallel but that's the way it's supposed to work here (even if it doesnt always work out that way)

anyway ncmusician is right - this is basically a non-issue and should be the way it is

or if changed it should be changed as jakotay suggested with syllogistic decision tree settings - that would be fair

I don't understand how having more internet availability equals more effort. The unemployed schmo sitting at home with nothing better to do can check the settings at 1:59, but the guy trying to run a business sure in the heck can't. Effort has nothing to do with it.

Do you really believe it makes that much of a difference? Seriously, think about it. Does it make that much of a difference.

I'm sure some owners already do this to some extent, yet have you ever noticed, and if so, how much/often does it occur presently and has it made an impact on the outcome of the game? (Of course you wouldn't be able to tell the impact it made because you can't go back in time and change your settings to adjust, so there would be no way to know if you originally would have won in the first place...)

I think you're having trouble differentiating between effort spent on life and effort spent mangaing the game
