THATS EXACTLY WHAT YOU'RE DOING!!! I made points and explained what I meant and they haven't been taken in their meant context once. Instead a buncha numbers geeks hellbent on showing me what for continue shoving their opinion down my throat. Except...I have yet to see ANYTHING convincing. Seriously.

My points were Cisco Carlos should not be getting slaughtered the way he is. I show how bad he has been through 91 games. I get in return that he has been as good as MacDougal, Bradford and Wolfgang he's just had bad luck. A)he shouldn't be just as good as those 3, he should be vastly superior B)bad luck through 91 games, really? You tried to back it up with numbers but considering he SHOULDN'T EVEN BE ON THAT LEVEL OF THE REST OF MY RPS you "research" equates to nothing to me. Seriously- the stat geek cites bad luck. OOHHHHHHKKKKAAAAYYYY.

I keep seeing "small sample size". If you considered half his season a small sample size, then fine- it's a small sample size. Cisco Carlos should not be putting up these numbers in what you considered a "small sample size" (which is a stupid explanation, seriously). A half season slump out of a RP I generally get 50 IP out of is significant.

Let's not forget the other factor leading to this post is recently I've had TWO 1990 Eckersley get rocked in leagues (110,140). Never seen that before either.

That is my ACTUAL lineup from a league of all WAA hitters. That is not a lineup you would see in a 90-100mil league.
First of all the majority of the owners in that league haven't bothered to check their AAA like I am 100% positive you have and second, that's really not that far off from a 90-100 line up.

...half of 2 is 1 and half of 1,000,000 is 500,000 but since they're both half they're equal...i guess if someone actually believes that they'll believe anything...of course anyone who believes they have a player cursed by some malicious, secret SIM programming and yet keeps using that player, well...

The stuff Clinton watches has the highest production values and is very well-written.

Maybe not the Sex Boat.

...and with all the pirates in the news the story is very topical, even forgetting kandi barbour's nipples...

- How boring would this site be if everyone performed to their RL stats all the time? If there were no good season or bad seasons, no one would play for very long.
- I agree with John. If anyone thinks the system is intentionally rigged against them, why would he pay money to play? I doubt Fox is concerned with anything other than how much revenue is generated.
- My normal lineup of 8 WAA batters in the same league has a salary of about $56M. Given that many teams spent part of their $40M on a super pinch-hitter or two (I have 53 Williams and 07 Ellsbury, for example, along with another 3-4 $5M AAA bats on the bench), I'd say it's more like a $140M-league-equivalent offense.
- Pitchers are going to get battered around in any WAA league. In the same league, 2000 Pedro and Garces are doing well for me but that's it. 06 Papelbon's ERA is 6.75. In fact, if you can find a way to make a Pap for Cisco trade work, I'll take it.

THAT'S not what I'm saying. That isn't what I have been saying. That's what you've been saying and others piled onto that. It is on me to a certain degree for not clarifying more earlier.

The team that I mentioned is in 1st place. I do think there is a difference in playing games live than in simmed games as to how they play out in the sense I think that perhaps there is an added "drama" factor or something. Eckersley has underperformed greatly the last 2X I used him, I posted a thread about it and others agree'd (also throwing 1918 Fred Toney in there too from what I recall). Then I see this happen to Carlos. Makes me scratch my head is all. I made this thread basically venting b/c it was bizarre and I couldn't make heads or tails out of it. Then you and others have spun and run with it (EX: your above post about the sim being "rigged", I never said that I said there seems to be some sort of levelling factor- could be the live drama thing that could be there, I dunno. Then you speak of repeatedly using the player over and over again or something. Where did that come from pertaining to my posts?), where to me is coming off as self righteous sim justification. It's all good JohnGPF, in this forum I read moire of your posts than anyone elses b/c of their insight. I just think (admittedly on me to a certain extent b/c I was not clear enough in hindsight) there was a level of miscommunication here...
