Willing to bet I am the only one in the league who ever attended a St. Louis Browns game. I saw Ned Garver pitch in the year he won 20 games for the Browns, who won a total of 52 that year and finished in their customary last place.You lose that bet. I saw the Browns play in the 1st M.L. game I attended. That was in 1949

I was 12 when I saw Garver in 1951, probably means I'm 70 now. Love this game and retired with time to play it !!

I saw Mickey Mantle play an exhibition game against the White Sox in 1957 in Charlotte, NC. I was almost 10 years old. I found my Dad's 8mm film a few years back and I have about 10 secs of Mantle. Wonder if it is worth anything.

I made a slight error in naming my team. Although I will begin in Cleveland's League Stadium II, I want to have future access to all stadia that the Cleveland franchise played in, so, with the commish's generous permission, I am renaming my team the Cleveland Indians.
