everything you described is wooden right now. my conf hasnt had a sim team in around 30 seasons. there's quite the community going among coaches (not just in conf but all DIII). there are OOC/NT rivalries that have spanned many, many seasons. i've tried recruiting ya, so i know you're not comming. . . but you got a team in wooden, check out the upstate standings. its a who's who (some aliases) of HD coaches. . . and this season we're flirting with 8-9 NT teams. last season we got 7 (9 total)
we've even got our own BCS conferences. granted we only have four, but the Midwest, nac, michigan, and upstate are almost all full and always at the top of conf RPI.
i will say, even though i was never a member of IBA DIII, i know we are no where near what that was back in the day. But we're inching closer each season.
