You want to just go for $20 again?

I am interested in a side bet or two... Gator?
11/13/2009 12:14 PM
I honestly would do sidebets with who ever if my BR was big enough to take the hit but its not. Unless I crush at this season in which case I won't need to pay out.

Just started playing cash games on UB .10/.25 with the duece7 game. Have made a good little run at that. If only I could transfer some UB money to FTP.

It's not something I'm ready to do right now, but in the near future if my roll gets going on FTP I might open a UB account and we could do a swap. I've never played on UB.

I played at UB back in the day and won a sat to play in a 1K satty for ME. The tourney crashed and UB had a ton of problems so I took my refund and bolted. Got an email saying I still had 50 bucks (not sure I really did or they gave it to me to get me back but it worked).

The Sites not terrible. Cash games (lower limits) always have players. Multi tabled tournies seem to be ok but sng almost never fill fast.

Games seem soft and Im running well so Im going to keep it going for a while. Though my BR for the level Im playing will only take a couple bad sessions to go broke. Interesting things thay have that other sites don't, rabbit cam, duece7 sidepot game and badbeat tables. Interesting enough.

TM do you play on pokerstars at all?

I like FTP the best, not sure I even have a reason. Probably past success. But it seems FTP is best for High Stakes players, and the PS is best for tournament players.

I don't play cash enough to know which has the softer tables but thinking Im going to start more.

What do you guys play the majority of...game/limits/site?

Played on PS a few years ago for a while. Right when UIGEA hit, my debit card stopped working there. I switched to FTP then and have stayed.

I currently play tourneys no larger than the $6.50 superturbo ko (unless I'm drunk), and I usually am staying with $3.30 and under. My most profitable tourney by far are the $3.30 90 man turbo ko's (around a 70% roi through about 250 of them, I think).

Thats impressive ROI and even more impressive discipline.

I wish I could stay within a bankroll. But some of the bigger tournies call for me way to often.

Vlpratt (sirorigami) and I did a 90 man 6.50 KO challenge before the WifSop started where we see who could avg the best finish for 20 of them. I won but it was real close. I seemed to finish them out stronger but he always seemed to be in the final 18. That was a fun competition. We both made a profit even after he paid me off.

Oh, as soon as I get a roll, my discipline goes to ****. I hit 3 major scores in the Spring in the $500 to $900 range (final tables in 2 daily doubles and a big field $10 ko) and I'm going to struggle to have a $500 profit for 09.

Do you guys feel like play is strong in general on Full Tilt? I used to make money in cash games and can't seem to any more. But I don't have the hours to grind on it either.
11/13/2009 2:30 PM
I've never been able to get myself to commit to cash games. Although the 7-game mix had me a little more interested for the month or so before my recent slowdown.

I think poker in general is tougher now then it was a couple years ago. After the unlawful gaming act I think it scared some of the fish though it really didn't do anything to the industry (I have had no problems with deposits and withdrawls).

Just started my cash games up again and hoping to have the discipline to grind it out. I love playing other games besides hold'em another thing that gets me in trouble.

This is going to be my first losing year in the last 4 years. I blame marriage and sticking to that story.

Would be interesting in doing a bankroll building competition with anyone if we can bang out the rules.

That could be fun and motivational. I could use help not being an idiot.

Its by far my biggest weakness is BR management. I love taking the shot at the big one.

I went felt once (and I just mean my online roll, when I was running good I made withdrawls to make purchases often) so I played in a FPP satty. Qualified for the 750K guarentee on Sunday (before you could unreg for T$) and then finished 11th for a big payday. That didn't help me learn discipline.

I think just talking about sessions with this group could keep me in line more but wagers always seem to be the best motivator.

I have the poker bug right now. Playing on UB and will make a FTP deposit before Tuesday.

Any ideas tm?
