I'm with sappy on current conferences. If it's not, then anybody with the SEC shouldn't be able to use Sidney Moncrief or Alvin Robertson because Arkansas was in the now defunct SWC when they played there. The Atlantic 10 team should be precluded from using Dr. J since that conference wasn't in existence when he was there. Also, The Big O & Wade should be off limits for Big East teams since Cincinnati & Marquette didn't join the conference until 2005.

I agree, current conference - pick a player, find his school, and use the conference that school is in at this moment.

I think that you use the current conference configuration but anybody that played for that school is good to go. So I think if you pick the SEC for example then anybody that played on any team that is currently in the conference is OK. So I am Ok with Big O and Wade being part of the Big East. If that makes sense. Just my 2 cents.

I'd like to switch to the Big 10. Too many options in the SEC, lmao.

Yeah, this one took awhile. I went to each team in the Big East using that link and wrote down each player who I thought might be draftable in a seperate word document, then printed that. So I then had about 4-5 pages of guys to actually look at. Once I figured out which way I wanted to go with starters, then I constantly referred to my printed sheet and did WIS searches to make the pieces fit. Took a while but I finally got 12 guys and only $3400 or so unused.

Just sharing in case it helps others.

And yes, we will stick with current conference setup. jrnyfan will drop Barros and make the adjustment.

No, I am making an exception for you....but ONLY for the owners attempting to make a go of it with a NON power conference. Trying to help even the playing field. I hope no one has a problem with that.

Sorry amerk but I am bailing. Once I am done with BOWIS I am going to cut back. I want to keep a couple of my progressive teams but other than that I am dumping a bunch of teams.

OK sappy, sorry to lose you. If you change your mind, c'mon back. Meantime, sappy's departure opens up a spot in the SEC if anyone else wants in with those teams.
