We should be able to open the draft (without skips) tomorrow and go on a schedule beginning Monday.

the only thing bad about the odl is the way the draft punishes last season's winners... doing well, puts u at the end of the line... seems a bit much... closer to 24 nets me the 15th? somewhere in the middle (imo) sucks. anyway, gl2 to everyone.

Well the NBA punishes the teams that makes the playoffs by keeping them out of the lottery, right?

The process of selecting slots is probably more at fault than anything else. Not sure of a better way to do it. It started out so that folks who did poorly could draft later (long thought of as a disadvantage) .... and now coming full circle we are seeing the opposite effect.

well, in the nba, these are keepers... yes? its not like we have a franchise to worry about... just a season...

however, i'm not complaining too much, its just that final 4 teams should be the first to decide... champs get gc's... runners up get, well, a handshake... i say, final 4 get to choose first... something to consider maybe for the future.

I like it like this. It allows guys that do terrible to have a shot at picking a better spot, while good, consistent owners will almost always put together a great team. The season I won I drafted 17th. I got stuck with around the same place the next year and still did well. I think of guys like banditone in funk52, consistently doing bad and always ending up picking near the beginning of the draft, while the guys that do well always pick near the end, which is definitely an advantage (more so in funk52 than odl, imo).
