Of those.. I think M. Richmond would be my #1... 11 seasons as a strong scorer.. some years in the mid 20s.

Seikaly could be an option for a team stacked at guard I guess..

Unless I missed some names in my first read through of that list. Not much interest for me as I no longer have a 1st rounder!

While the top of this Draft is not as loaded as many others, I actually think the depth is much better than average.

Although the "official" (timed) Draft probably won't start until Monday, March 22 (to allow full attention on the NCAA Tourney for 4 days after this season's Finals are done) nin311ff can kick things off whenever he's ready. I'm sure creigel will have the Draft thread ready soon, and any made picks can then be transferred into it.

this pick may raise some eyebrows, but i've done that before with picks and we really need a PG more than anything i think so...

Anaheim selects PG Rod Strickland

I don't think that raises any eyebrows. He was number 2 on my board. Number 1 was my pick, Mitch Richmond.

Strickland's relatively low efficiency makes him hard to use in most WISNBA leagues, but should be less of an issue in this league. He has good long-term value with good assist numbers, and also can be a good second or third scorer in some seasons. Not an obvious choice for the first overall pick in this draft, but not a crazy one by any means.

Richmond will be instant offense for cea's squad, which has a shot at making the playoffs what with Great Lakes losing Bird for a season.
