One question...are we allowed to swap players before we find out their seasons, or do we have to wait until specific seasons are assigned?

YOu have to wait until seasons are assigned. And you don't swap the whole player, you just get a shot at a different season if you want.

I'll try and get ahold of Kint tommorow, but it might be tough.

Sorry, by "swap", I meant trade. Do we have to wait to find out what season we get before we trade?

I see what you mean..sure I don't see why you couldn't make trades before the seasons are chosen.

Would we be able to Veto trades or can people trade freely?

Just a heads up for fellas that might have missed it but:

First and last seasons of a player's career will be eliminated if they contain less than 400 AB, or less than 100 IP for a starting pitcher. This is according to baseball-reference.com, not ab/162 or ip/162. I do this because this is where I calculate the available seasons, etc.

Couple of guys missed this rule in the live version. A guy's last season might not be in the WiS database so you could end up getting a "WiS last season" that is in actuality the players next to last.

Also be on the lookout for guys who have pitching and hitting years. A few of the old timers have these, one prime example being Big Bob Caruthers. All those years are in the randomizer so just because you draft Bob as a pitcher dosen't mean you won't get one of his OF years.

Not that I'm in a rush, but this draft could take months if we don't go on the clock soon. Just my two cents

For once we agree.

It will start up Monday. Five guys are out of town this weekend and NCAA's are in the opening stages. Not sure if anyone read my sitemails, but I've made it pretty clear this would be the case since we fired it up. ;)

So if I were to draft Steve Busby, for example, I wouldn't have a shot at his 1972 season (40 IP, 1.57 ERA, 0.90 WHIP, 1.80 BB/9, 0.23 HR/9), or if I drafted Bob Milacki I couldn't get his WIS-legend 1988 season?
