I didn't like the Phillies as a viable choice. They already have Carlton and still sucked. Their second best SP, Woodie Fryman, is a multi-team player who belongs to the Tigers. I won't even start with their pathetic offense. Is 8 picks enough
Fair enough. My first pick by far was the Giants. Second choice was the Braves. But they were both gone and I didn't like any of the teams .
The offence isn't as bad as some teams - 1972 was a horrible year over all for offence.
The 8 picks doesn't matter as there is usually nothing past round 4. But the first overall pick and one starter is something to work with.
And I don't have to do too much to match the real life winning percentage
