understand your alleged tweaks.

To get back to the point of the thread, the voting so far seems to be 8-to-2 in favor of a continued roll out.

new engine, keep on rollin

keep rolling out the new engine.

i have two press teams that are in Tark and Allen -- my only complaint is that people simply will not take threes if they are set to 0. fix that and i think the new engine's pretty good.

then again, i'm 5-1 in those 2 worlds, so take it with as many grains of salt as you want.....

Yes, stop!

Yes, stop rolling out the new engine into worlds until it is stabilized.

Continue rolling out the new engine

The new engine is flawed, I think we all agree with this. How flawed is everyone's own opinion. What I can't understand is why coaches who are in worlds with the old engine would actually WANT to play under a new engine that we know needs fixed, instead of letting them fix it and playing under a smooth running engine. Sorry, but that just seems *** backwards to me.....

100% keep rolling it out to all worlds

In all seriousness, you can't shelf this after a week or 2 or 3...you have to at least run a full season with it and let seble and the guys work the kinks out, regardless of how shoddy the original new product may have been/may be. They spent 4 months or so testing it and they're not just going to say *f**k it" and scrap all that work.

I do hope they keep the old engine in storage somewhere, if in fact that's possible though.

You're arguing in other threads that the press is (and has been) way too strong. So obviously you think the current engine is seriously flawed.

Keep it going as is, people are upset because they know about the flaws of the old engine, and while the new engine has some flaws, seble is much better able to fix those flaws quickly and the more people who see it, the more bugs that will be found.

Keep it rolling.

dcy, the old engine was terribly flawed. In fact, I'd go so far as to say that the coaches who were most successful in it owe a lot of their success to the ability to exploit those flaws.

And we want to stay with that engine?

Of course I understand what you're saying -- it's kind of like the evil you know vs. the evil that you don't know. But at least in this case, we know that the evil we don't know has the chance to be converted to good. The evil that we know is just flat-out evil.

It's really kind of astonishing to me how many people don't realize the extent to which the old engine was fubar'd.
