Sign me up for Washington

To be sure, this is the rosters as of the beginning of the season right? So I'll have Butler, Jamison on my team?
You'll have Butler and Jamison for their time as Wizards only...Butler played 74 games this season, but 47 with Washington. So you'd get those 47.
I'll still take Washington. They might suck but at least it will be a fun challenge.

all3 is in despair ... how quickly one can drop from #2 to #5 and see Wilt vanish into the ether.
Maybe Paultz will still be available.

Actually, I'm just happy to see owners join.  Keep 'em coming.

I'd like to release Portland back into the wild and switch to Miami, if that's okay with everyone

No problem. Now let's see if we can get this thing filled by early next week. Btw, anyone have any insight on when the new players will be out? WIS is taking "fashionably late" to a whole new level on this one.

The good news is that the extra time has given me a chance to move off my original plan to draft Kareem for the Nets. Now my pick will be even more controversial. All I can tell you guys about him is that he has more rings than fingers.

Drafting Bill Russell first overall is controversial?!?

A quick question for you guys: When we fill, do you want to begin drafting the next day, even if slow-as-molasses WIS still hasn't released the 2009-10 players?

I think that would be fine.  We all know what our teams strengths/weaknesses are in general and have an idea on which legends we'd need to fill holes.  No need to drag it out any longer need be.

I agree with that, flipper. I'm hoping the majority of folks see it the same way, too.

Isn't position effectiveness a concern? What if you draft a guy who's a PG only assuming you can move your PG to SG, but the update now has your PG as 80% at SG? I think we should wait. The draft will be quick - it's only two rounds.

I'm on the fence between waiting and starting.

I wouldn't mind waiting to see exactly what my roster looks like before drafting since the Wizards made a few in season trades and had a couple of suspensions.

Gotta admit position effectiveness is a concern me for me as well.  (I'd love Ellis to be 100% at SF.)

Houston...thanks!

True on the position effectiveness... could be a problem.  Hopefully WIS gets it together and it won't matter anyway

Glad to have you my man. I think we can get this thing full by the start of free agency (Thursday).
