Wylie, before I pick my team, I have to know if you are holding to .300/.400/.500, or to "close enough." Close enough is not close enough. If you set guidelines, either keep them, or move them. But don't say .375 is "close enough" to .400, because I'll have a pitching staff with 1.10 WHIP, which I'll argue is "close enough" to 1.20. if you think your standards are too strict, then change them. If not, enforce them. If a higher BA or slugging pct will mitigate a lower OBA, then set an OPS standard. But please don't say "close enough."
