Uno Version 9 Draft Here Topic

Except for that now everyone knows who Todd will pick. How is that fair to him when he made in good faith a selection? We will be fine will.

Trust me maddux would've been gone in the 1st round. Anyway, just waiting on stainman.

I'm with the guys who think that no 2nd round pick should be safe until the first round picks have been made, including the first one.

I really dont see the point in making Toddles 2n round  pick safe. Its not like theres been a bunch picks made since he made his. You should clear his out and make the rules apply to all rounds.

* I'm fine with this thinking, Bastan.  Rules should be consistent.  I will take down my pick and Hold off until Round 1 is over.  * And don't worry about the pick. being taken... Hell, with multiple Wild Cards going in Round 1- I'll have a better chance getting someone good in Round 1 with the Wild Card than in Round 2.

I'm afraid that it will take a Lot longer to get the next Day's Team established if the Next Round has to wait until the previous is over... (or until they are sure that everyone left to pick has already played their Wild Card or Reverse)

* The problem wih allowing more than 1 Wild Card per Round  will be having to wait until 10 pm to start the next Round.
* What if someone isn't around at 10pm to let the rest of the League know what team we will be Drafting from the next day?
That was always the advantage to allowing only 1 Wild Card per Round.  Once the Reverse & Wild Cards were played in a given Round- the next Round team & player was safe to be made so we could get ahead & give everyone in the League notice.

We'll just have to keep on our toes and hope no one misses their slot in picking the next Round...

Ok thanks Todd, sorry everyone for the frustration of the rules, I was just trying to allow multiple rounds to go at the same time. We will stay consistent and todd is fine with taking back his pick. So we are still in Round 1 awaiting staind's pick and round 2 has not been started yet. I hope everyone is fine with that.

No worries Bastan. I just think these topics were important to discuss as this is different than all other UNO's with using multiple Wild Cards allowed per round. Do we need to set time slots for the draft picks for upcoming rounds? Thanks.

The reason why it makes sense to use your WC in the 1st round is that if you dont grab the top tier player now you may not get one. I dont pick in the top 10 until round 4 and most top players will be gone by then.

There are draft times as stated here.

Each Round will have the same time slot for each day, starting at 9am eastern and finishing at 9 pm eastern everyday. Everyone will have a 30 minute timeslot. You can start the next round at anytime once the round before you has started. Just remember though that players selected in earlier rounds have preference over your round. So we can have and I encourage multiple rounds going at one time. We will start the clock on Monday at 9am eastern.

We go on the clock on Monday.
