Forgot they got Silver King...  I never use him, so he's not really on my radar.  Let me know if you want that team obnyy.

It's tempting, but I think i'll pass for now.  The pitching is definitely enough to make the team fairly competitive, but the everyday lineup has holes.   You can make a decent hitting team, but you need to play some OFs out of position (like at 1B) and then  you have compromised defense.  The SS-3B options aren't 160 mil cap worthy, but OFs like  Tip O'Neil, Joe Kelley, Al Simmons, Harry Heilman, Pete Browning, Babe Herman, are all guys who passed through Cincy at one point.  With the exception of Simmons, none of them have good enough fielding stats to go with their hitting for my liking, especially since you are going to try to build this team around its pitching.  It was fun to put a mock team together just now, but i'm not sure I want to take it through the whole season.      

I see no one has taken the Dodgers.  I will see about putting together a team suitable for this league...subject to change of course.   Thanks.

I put a mock Reds team together, too. If this league goes again, I'll pick them up. I think they got what it takes to be a contender.

I'm taking the Phillies for my 2nd team.  Still one Phillies team left.  No franchises yet excluded...

I bet if you created the league, we'd get people in that don't usually check the forums for leagues. 

A) I did create the league and B) I didn't advertise it.  It's a terrible idea to have people enter LIVE leagues in any other way than through finding it on the LIVE forum.  When that's happened in the past the guys that didn't sign up in the forums typically play less than 10 LIVE and it really hurts other people trying to make the min and enjoy LIVE play.

I'm willing to take a shot on new LIVE players looking actively for a LIVE league.  If they come in here they at least are starting out with the intention of being in a LIVE league and playing LIVE games.  What I don't want is people looking for a league who think maybe they can play some LIVE if they like the look of it.

I will take a gamble and try the Texas Rangers.
