I'm actually doing better than I thought I would at this point.  Overall, without including the Twins/Senators team in the fold, I'm 93-82 with two of my teams in first place.  Of course, once you throw in the 5-20 Twins, it screws everything up...

Team A is doing really well.  Without including my 7 - 18 orioles and juice's 5 -20 Twins we are 182 - 168 or 14 games over 500.  Who cares about those other two teams.....

I know that feeling...I'm 90-85 when you get rid of those 5-20 Cards.

The Yankees and Red Sox are the only of my teams who aren't performing below their pythag.

'96 Brady Anderson.

Through 140 PA's - 3Hr's 14RBI 1SB .195Ave .257OBP .273SLG, Actual? 50HR's 110RBI 21SB .297Ave .396OBP .637SLG, True he's playing in a .92 stadium but still?!? I figured I'd give up awful defense by playing him at 2b (he is a A/A outfielder) but make up for it on the offensive side.  The WIS gods were not amused.

'05 Carpenter is now 0-9 in 9 starts.  That is some stellar work right there.

Anderson now has 29 errors in 39 games.  An A/B+ outfielder goes from .992 to .872 w/ a move to 2b?  I expected a penalty but this seems a bit excessive, on pace for a 120 error season.

I wonder if the penalty is amped up, considering he throws lefthanded (and like a girl.)

Two straight 7-1 updates, the only loss on today's PM1 coming in a game where I gave up 0 earned runs.

OK I have had it. The SIM officially hates me. I screwed up. I am from new York and I picked a Red Sox team...bad karma to start with, but this is ridunculous. I've got Pedro and Roger and the man they name the best pitcher after, Cy Young. I also have tris Speaker, Teddy Ballgame, Yaz, Nomar and Boggs. Old XX was a good Red Sox, but nooooooo..not for me. I am on a streak of 3 - 22. I mean I could put a team of $200,000 players out there and they would win more than 12% of the time. The '62 frickin Mets won 1/4 of their games.  The 1972 New York islanders, maybe the worst professional sports team in the last 50 years ( I was at all 39 of their home games) won almost 17% of their games. We are talking all time futility here. Maybe if I apologize and promise to never take a Red Sox team again, the SIM will let me off the . Probably not.

I feel your pain, Oli.  My Cardinals team is terrible. '05 Carpenter is now 0-12 in 13 starts. How in the hell is that even possible.

This is my big one

1915 Tim McCabe
.185 OAV#, 1.89 BB/9#
.327 OAV, 3.75 BB/9, 9.75 ERA

He needed five straight scoreless appearances to get those numbers down to where they're at now.
