Quick clarification - if a player is listed in the WIS database under two positions can they be drafted under either round they are listed under?

I think you have to use that season then that's listed for the position drafted. Example: Stoudemire who was just picked has pf and c seasons, I believe the season used must list him as C, but he could be played at pf if you want.

my ruling would be, yes, as long as you draft the player for the round he is qualified to be drafted for. i will double check your squad when the league is formed. coach is right. there's lots of players like amare that qualify for two positions.

And then he cannot be re-picked for the PF draft.... I'm assuming

when a player is drafted, he is exclusive, not just his position, but the man himself.

Bluenote75  from what I have found there is only one player that fits this description and that is only because of a slight change in his name.

We have to draft our players based on their positions as listed under their name on their player pages. The position stated at the top of their player page underneath of their name is the only position that they can be drafted for.

If Magic Johnson was eligible for this draft he could only be drafted as a Power Forward in the PF round or RD 2. Bring up Magic Johnson in the database and you will see what I mean.

no no, there are five players who fit that particular situation, vancem, and there are two in this round.

what the heck player page is vance refering to? If you pull the page that lists magic as a pf of course it says pf, at the top if you pull up the one that says pg at the top of the page it says pg.

 Erick Dampier.

vancem is talking about a particular player who's first name is mike, if i may say an undrafted player's partial name. and whether or not the spelling is slightly different, and he is listed at two different positions, the fact remains, he is 1 person, and his selected position must reflect the current draft position round. simple.
