lots of great pf's to choose... i think the sf' round is gonna be tough for the lower slots... pg round is going to be the most interesting to me. there are lots of great pg's to be had... no paul, magic, kidd, ... but, whoa, baby! 2-5 big guns for sure.

Can't argue with any of the top 3 picks, given who's already off the board.  Boozer's D took a big hit recently, but I think he'll still be a strong performer with his Dreb and offensive efficiency.  Need to get FTAs from somewhere else, though.  Also, minutes are a bit low for a modern $47 mil league...but who am I to talk, starting out with Boerwinkle?

but boerwinkle was exactly who i would've taken also, or maybe camby.

A couple nice studs and several serviceable players left at PF, who would be legit starters in most any theme league.  However, by my count there aren't quite enough to make it down to me, so hopefully I'm missing a few.

Haywood is great value at the #11 spot in this round, as long as you build around his high price tag.  He boards well, is a good #2 scorer or part of a balance attack, he doesn't screw up much, and he doesn't need much help off the bench.  I would have considered him as the top pick in this round.

Gallatin is a guy I'd hoped might fall to me.  He's a rebounding monster, and adds some assists and FTAs.  He won't be shy about shooting, though, despite his lousy percentage from the field, so he needs to be surrounded with people who take the ball from him and shoot better.

I wanted Haywood but he was too much $$$ for what I want to do which is to save a little bit more for my bench this time around.

The Schrempf pick really surprised me in the PF round. I always think he's a SF, even inrl, although he has some PF seasons here.

Duos I like so far: Thurmond/Mason, Paultz/Buck, and the Reed/Haywood duo.. strong stuff there.

mutombo - kemp has some symmetry going

maybe mr schrempf will play SF? you can always draft a couple semi-stud PF eligible players in rd 6

good point on detlef

re mutombo & kemp, rain man's gazillion fouls and turnovers turn me off. but the 2 bigs are good together (need big time asts now, tho)

I had Haywood in the 52M league. Solid points and rebounds. Stole him in the 6th round. I made the playoffs at least, but without him I would have been toast. Hardly ever gets in foul trouble. At 10.6 M it's gonna be tough to fit him in a 47M league.

Ok. Which is better. My Chandler/D.Lee combo or Daugherty/Bosh? I did meet my goal of 2 guys with well over 50% efg and solid rebounding for a blacklist league. Daugherty is a little light on the rebounds, so I will have to be aware of that in the sf/sg rounds. I wanted the high efg because lets face it, there are going to be some brick layers out there at the guard positions in the next rounds.

i like Chandler/D.Lee. at least chandler can cover 1 of the other guys and lee can switch to the weaker offensive threat.

Daugherty/Bosh = sieve. teams w/ 2 strong frontcourt players are gonna kill 'em.

granted, that's all in theory.. and anything can happen w/ the sim as u know. (also remember, the effects of D account for all the guys on the court, too, not just who's on who.)
