Wow, looks like I missed the boat on this one.  Great idea for a theme league, but I didn't think it would be full before I'd even looked at the available teams.  This thing filled faster than most open leagues. 

Anyway, even though team pickings are slim to none, please put me on the wait list.  Maybe someone with a strong team will drop out.  If not, I'll find something I can work with (although maybe not win with).

Hey, Logain, if you want I can take Miami off your hands.  We all saw how badly they choked in the clutch.  Do you really want to subject yourself to a team like that?

as point of clarification... do the players from the selected team need to have been on the roster during the finals? or just been on the roster for any point that year?  for example in 03-04 horace grant was on the Lakers roster at beginning of season, but was not on their roster during the finals.  Is he eligible for drafting?  

Any point in the season.  If he had been on their finals roster, they might have won (the reasoning behind).

Well, I couldn't sleep so I looked through the list of teams left and I'm going with the 84-85 Celtics. 

I wanted to use the 85-86 Rockets because of Olajuwon, but the rest of the team appears to be too one dimensional given the way the sim works right now.  If I could add two outside players, that team would be a force.  Although that's also true of a number of other teams.
