Well, there are 5-10 players with longer excellent careers but I can't pass up 3 great seasons;

and for that pick your team will easily be the best team in the first three years.

Well, he doesn't have his second pick for quite awhile given the draft structure, so I wouldn't go that far yet. What I would agree with is that he'll have the most dominant player in the league's first three seasons to build around, and that's not bad at all.

To me Hayes vs. Chamberlain for the 1st pick was a 50/50 toss-up.  I don't think you can go wrong either way.

Agree. I would have gone with the Big E for the extra years of productivity, and because I always liked him as a player. Wilt is probably the greatest of all time (certainly most dominant in his era), but it was painful watching him shoot free throws.

In the intrest of having a different team name each season I will take the Minnesota Pipers

I've been looking at potential division alignments since I have 2 teams in the league and need to keep them in separate conferences. I've proposed to Dave (our esteemed commissioner) that I select Oakland to replace my earlier pick of Boston, which I am trading to Celtics fan Poddy in return for New Orleans. That way I should end up with one team in each conference. Looks like all of the other 2 team owners are in good shape as long as we keep luvyablues' St. Louis and Houston franchises in separate conferences. So, the team draft listing should show Oakland replacing my earlier Boston pick, which should in return replace Poddy's earlier New Orleans pick, which becomes my current pick.
