Got a question....I checked the site referenced on page 1.  Never been there previously but found it interesting.  Using Golden State Warriors, for instance, under them is listed 1) Golden State Warriors, 2) San Francisco Warriors and 3) Philadelphia Warriors.  If I were to draft GS, would all the players who played for any of those 3 NBA franchises be eligble for my GS team?  Also, the Philadelphia Warriors is not listed under the Philadelphia 76ers.  Does that mean that I would not be able to use any Phila Warriors players on my team if I drafted the 76ers?  Thanks for your help.

all team names associated with that franchise's history are valid as long as bballref lists a team in that franchise legacy as here:

so if you pick the thunder can you draft sonics? yep and if you pick the clippers you can draft braves, if you pick the kings you can draft royals (which you'll almost certainly want to do), if you pick the 76ers you can draft Nationals (though I doubt you'd want to) etc etc etc
