Rules need to be fixed then.  They are misleading/straight up wrong.

Yes. And in past versions, missed picks had to be made up before another pick could be made. For example, if staindman has not made his Round 1 pick, he can't make a pick in Round 2. That prevents someone from leaving a late-in-the-round pick to the end to use up whatever remains under his salary cap.

Josh is correct in his assessment. That is exactly what has happened in the past and will happen this go around also.

I'm sorry I'm not a lawyer who can take all the time in the world to word things exactly to the T so that people cannot try to manipulate their way through a draft. UNO has been pretty constant since it's existence and many owners can confirm that. How someone would think any player is available when the team is not listed is beyond me. At this point, if you feel like I tricked you into this game by giving you a "straight up wrong" rule, you can leave and I'll take your team. I really am not going to listen to people complain when it just started and has been a fun, fast-paced draft, as well as another draft in progress at the same time. I have put up about 50-75 bucks personally to get both leagues full so that it could be FUN. I guess that was too much to ask for. Once again, I am truly sorry that I thought people would understand a draft that has been around for ages and been pretty constant. My fault, I will pay the price if that ruined your whole strategy or team in one round.
