I'm doing that last. Not sure how I'm even going to start.

I did mine - was a bit easier than I expected........and I'm not going to bother tinkering with it because it will drive me insane......
I agree with this 100%.

I've tried about 7 or 8, 100 million $ teams.  And I'm sure I can form an 80$ OL team that would shred all of them.  Modern, deadball, it doesn't matter.

It is keeping the cumulative record at .500 or lower that is killing a position or 3.

Ahh, but that's what kind of makes this fun.

Is there any danger admin will change the player prices between the two rounds? They look like they are planning a big update, and that could confuse the 80M league.

The 5X5  theme is absolutely sick.  Probably the hardest team I've ever built.  I went through about 5 or 6 seasons before I even had anything even close to resembling a $100 mil team and still not real satisfied.

I asked TZ.  He says no salary change is coming with the next update.

The 5x5 theme isn't that hard. I won't give away my approach, and I'll definitely keep tinkering, but I've already put together 2 teams with relative ease that I'd be comfortable competing with.

Just read the themes... love 'em!  I was considering sitting this out due to other priorities.  Who was I kidding?

I had a lot of fun, building teams for the 100M theme.  I came up with a bunch of choices.  Each had it's strengths and weaknesses... I had to decide which weakness I could live with.

I agree - I had much more trouble with, for instance, the 90M theme.

Hmmm...maybe I'm just going about the 5 X 5 the wrong way.  After about 10 attempts I've got 2 teams that I'm going to pick between and settle on.  I have a feeling there may be a lot of disparity in these leagues.  If you find just the right season I think you could dominate.

I'll admit, I've barely begun to tinker with team building, but the $100m seems like it would be relatively painless, especially if you build the $90m first. At least in my researching for $90m teams it has given me some good ideas for starting places for my $100m teams.

See, now I did the $90 mil team before any other and liked the first team I picked.  I'll probably take a look at a couple more teams but thought this one was pretty easy.

As soon as I saw the $90M theme I knew what team I wanted to run with.  I don't have a lot of spare time these days to research for it, so I'll probably stick with that first instinct.
