100 round magazines look cool, but they dont make klilling 12 people easier.

Um, yeah it does. Gives you 100 chances to kill 12 people instead of 8. It is very hard to kill 12 people 8 shots. Much easier with 100 chances.
take 2 guns.
Now you are changing the parameters. Just admit your wrong and move on.
I'm not wrong. I didnt change the parameter. I showed you what criminals do. This isnt a research project, this is real life!

The left keeps trying to take our guns a little at a time.

First so called assault guns, then pistols, then who knows what.

The premise is flawed. The guns are not causing the crime, so no matter how many you take away you dont fix the problem.

In your original post you said 8 shots that is one gun then after a disproved your statement with math you added the second gun thus changing the parameters. If you can't understand that go find a slug to explain it to you.

Also, I dare you to find a post were I have ever said anything about banning pistols. I believe automatic weapons, and guns that have more than an eight bullet capability in one loading should be illegal.

My point was that he was talking about some oddball clip that holds 100 rounds as if that is what they want to ban. I showed a picture of a common shotgun that people all over America might own that Clinton declared illegal.

Youy dont need a 100 round clip to murder people. The army would never use them.

You may not have ever said handguns but you know that the anti-gun movement has always tied handguns to crime. I ask you if the assualt gun ban didnt stop crime what would the next move be. Either banning guns works or it doesnt!

jeez Swamp...you are dumber than dirt. For starters, 70+ people were shot. How many rounds were fired? To say that a 100-round drum makes no difference just shows how you argue solely for the sake of argument. I bet no one pays any attention to you in real life, so you deliberately say outrageous things here to get that attention you crave.

When did people escape? When the MF was reloading. How many people would have been saved if he had to reload every 6 shots instead of every 100? Or using your math...well, he could have just as easily been carrying 16 pistols and not had to reload at all.

<<100 round magazines look cool, but they dont make klilling 12 people easier.>> (than magazines of 6)

Anyone besides Swamp want to agree with that statement?
It takes 5 seconds to change magazines.

The things you concentrate on are hysterical.  This lunatic was planning this for months.  If he didn't have extended mags, it would not have made a damn bit of difference.

The problem is that this country decided to do away with state run mental health facilities.  There is reason there are tons of homeless.  Why these things happen every so often.

As to guns, you could outlaw them all.  It will not change anything.  Then criminals will surely still get them.  So will the guys like this.  You know, it's funny.  occsid complained just yesterday about the failure of the war on drugs.  The drugs keep getting in.  Prohibition failed.  The booze got in.  Do you really think the guns wouldn't?

Thank you Ronald Reagan!

The reason crazy people are running around is the left redefined what allows hospitals to keep people against their will. The rights on the insane was more important than society in general.

So we have a surge in homeless people because the police cant arrest and institutionalize them.

you prattle on about freedom and then you write this. So which is it genius, the rights of the individual or the rights of society? You have put your mouth right in the ol' tarbaby and there is no getting out of this one. Further evidence, if any was needed...that you are a loon.

I always love the way you will find some technical issue to claim the right is crazy.

Mentally ill people do not have the same claim to rights that people in genral do.

We let the left claw at normalacy and tradition.

Traditions like racism, sexism, elitism, and that people with handicaps should not be seen or heard????  Tradition like those you mean?

I didn't claim the right was crazy...the term loon, and I apologize to our feathered friends who bear the name, was specifically addressed to YOU...you are the freakin' loon.

No need to respond, you join Doug on my BLOCK list.

This is what the left is all about.

We are having a good conversation and since I wouldnt abandon my beliefs and start to believe what the left believes I am banned.

I have blocked no one. I loke to hear different ideas and thoughts. I base my beliefs after I have heard all ideas.

You are a typical gutless liberal.

You can have all the gun laws you want.  This guy had no run ins with the polices except for a speeding ticket.

You know, it's funny.  The statistics regarding guns and gun fatalities are plentiful.  There has been a steady decrease in gun related deaths for years.  The "assault weapons" ban changed nothing.  When it went into effect, there was no down turn as a result.  Then it was lifted, there was no increase.  Criminals get guns and use them.  Gun laws will not change that.  The left goes on and on about guns and gun laws.  All they will accomplish is a populace unable to defend themselves from people who still have and use guns.

And did the ban on AP rounds create a situation where citizens could not defend themselves against the Colorado shooter?

give me a legitimate reason for someone to have a 100-round drum for there AR-15?
