I'm not sure why I even wanted Mike Scott again after he stunk last season, but at least I finally rostered a starting pitcher after round 1.  It's the first time in three seasons I've gotten even one starter after the first round.  And I got two.  Yay.

I should be ecstatic that I ended up w/Koufax, Ryan and Newhouser after the first round!

You had tremendous success with drysdale last season, and you frequently do not pick the same players in consecutive seasons. If I knew you wanted him again I wouldn't have named him. The rest of the guys I didn't get were players I did not expect to get, but I didn't want anyone else to get them, either. 2nd roster sent.

No problem PK...I often use that version of Drysdale in 90M-120M leagues.  Its hard to break away from guys you've had success with on several occasions.  My 2nd roster attempt actually has a full time 1B that I have never used in building approx 1,000 teams.  Good luck!

In my case, I have my entire lineup, other than scrubs.  I intentionally picked some cheap scrubs who had good seasons to ensure that nobody else got the player, and that mostly worked.

But my pitching.... Oh, my pitching.  Devastated. 

Mauldawg, you really never know whether your team is going to be good or bad in this until you start playing. The hardest part is after the 2nd round, when you need PAs or IPs and you no longer have the funds to get the guy you would like to have. We all have gotten a few we didn't expect to get, and not gotten a few we were really hoping for. Most of the "cookies" you are used to facing will be blacklisted. Even if some of them are present, they'll only be on one team, so it's not like you're facing three superstud pitchers and a HOF lineup every series. You did well getting 20 in the first go 'round.

Shoot, I'd consider 20 a resounding success... I don't remember ever claiming more than 17 on the first try... and I didn't even crack double digits this time... but overall, I'm very pleased with my team so far.

How are we doing on rosters? 

Eleven are processed, and I have 9 sitemails that I assume contain rosters. So provisionally call it 20 in. All processed rosters are legal.

We are at 20 rosters in. A couple fixes need to be made. Owners have been notified.

Is it my impatience or is this taking longer than it should?
Guessing if you live north of the Mason Dixie line you're still on vacation. . . .
Whatever . . . . this is a long process . . . . . and then when all owners have their teams certified, so to speak, it takes 72 or more hours to get the tem in.
Phew . . . . this is a long process......

I'd have to agree... I'd think 24 hour turn around for submitting a new roster should be expected, and nobody should go over 48 hours.

But we're all at the mercy of the slowest. 

All rosters are in. A couple fixes need to be made, and I still need to put the results together. Results should be out later today.

The frigging tension is KILLING me....
