IT'S GWB's FAULT!!!!!  4EVA!!!!
This statement is not true.

When asked to explain why a normal cyclical downturn is the fault of Bush they will hem and haw and give all kind of generalities about regulations and tax cuts.

Fact is the crash was caused by the real estate bubble. The reason we are still in it is massive government spending and bad econimic policies of Obama!

massive government spending in depressions is the way out of depressions

you will see in six months when we go off the fiscal cliff

austerity, balancing the budget, is pure stupidity right now

a country is not a household or a business

a country can rig the rules to keep money moving

when you tell a country it has to balance its budget in time of depression you are telling babe ruth to bunt

you small ball ******* are trying to ruin the country out of some misguided sense that it's immoral to run deficits

maybe for a household or a business but not for a country, *******

print money, loan money, hand out cash, anything to keep people spending

that's how you kill a depression, you drown it in a sea of cash

vote Oblama. keep the money train moving

LOL...Swamp doesn't even no who the conservatives in the Pit are.

Footnote for Swamp...raucous is a conservative who is also not a big Romney fan. But if you've ever bothered to actually read posts and note who the posters are, you would have recognized the raucous was being SARCASTIC, and making a point that too many liberals immediately default to the "Blame Bush" line of thinking.

I pity the fool who misinterprets raucous' posts...

The way you get out of a recession/depression is to get people working again.  Which means you do not institute policies that make it harder/more expensive to conduct business.
8/29/2012 10:41 AM
And the best way to get them working is to get people to spend money on things that require companies to hire people.

Right on, bagchucker.

And if it doesn't seem to be working, it's because you're not handing out enough cash, right?   So you keep going?  You print the money until bread costs $50 a loaf?   You borrow money from that mystical uber-bank?   And if that doesn't work, it's because you're not handing out enough cash, right?   etc etc etc

And my favorite.. Force people to use what cash they can find, to buy something no one wants, made by a magical company that the government pays to keep going no matter how corrupt and/or inept they are, and profits be damned.    Because we can always make money.   And if that doesn't work, it's because you're not handing out enough cash, right?

No wonder all the dolphins are leaving

I know who is who. I knew it was sarcasm.

I didnt attack the person. I didnt call him a liberal.

I just went on the same idea that he presented as comedy in a more expanded way. There was a lull and I wanted to keep this theme alive so I reopened the topic.

And of course you would take the time to call me stupid, but you would not take the time to respond to the issue, because you have no response.

you put money in the hands of people who will spend it and business will go after the money

because thats what business does
8/29/2012 6:07 PM
Of course if you are taking money from the business and then giving it back to them in exchange for goods you are not making the deal attractive.

This idea that any government action causes the economy to go up is incorrect.

We need market driven jobs to sustain a recovery. And the thing that is holding that back is the disaterous policies of Obama. Either he needs to become business friendly or get replaced. And since his whole life is based on Euro Style Socialism I see little chance he will change his spots.

I'm calling BULLSHIT...it was your typical knee-jerk reaction to something you disagreed with, without bothering to understand...

And only in your mind would calling someone a "liberal" be considered an "attack"...ouch...my feelings are hurt.

<<I just went on the same idea that he presented as comedy in a more expanded way.>>

I see....so he made a sarcastic comment, and you went with the same idea by, attacking it in your typical fashion...totally absolving Bush for anything having to do with the economy as part of a "normal cycle" and blaming everything on Obama. You are right...that is the epitome of topical humor....

Swamp...when you speak...there is no "issue"   only the clanging of gongs and cymbals signifying nothing. A parrot or mynah bird can always fill in for you when you want to take a break.
