Yes, you were a turdburglar.

FWIW, and I realize not much, one of the reasons I left is because, pretty early last season, I decided the best course of action wrt trades was just to veto.  Owners who I considered good owners who would look out for the best interest of the world(not you, brian) were proposing/accepting complete turdburger deals.   You(yes you, brian) were like a bad trade disease that began to spread.   Despite having a team that would crank out 90-100 win seasons for the next 4-5 seasons by simply signing up, I felt it was time for me to go.   I didn't feel like going thru what went on the last 3-4 days and I just didn't have the time to care.

So, congrats.    You are contagion.

It doesn't matter.  Like you said, the precedent was set. And then, today, not followed. To brian, not you mike.

All I want is some consistency either we can or cannot make these type of trades.  I dont like the idea that "so and so " can but you cannot.  If someone Is going to not only veto these deals but be vocal in doing so then they try to pull one off thats were my issue is.

The league seems to think you can't. And yet, you keep trying to make them...

Yeah, that was kind of my point.   I don't think there was a season that brian didn't have a deal vetoed.

But yet others can get away with them?

No he's poor little persecuted brian. Everyone always picks on him. His motives are pure. Nothing petty involved.

Nope. I'm all about consistency.   You regularly traded with some inexperienced owner and all but attempted to steal players,   You'd offer some useless 34 y/o turd making 6m for a lower OVR, much better, much cheaper player.   Or package a bunch of crap for one good player.   It was silly and you always acted shocked when 22 people would veto.

The commish got away with two of them. And you tried to make a third trade that DID get vetoed. All AFTER the crap with my deal. How does this somehow put you in the moral high ground, and not make you a petty, sad little man?
8/28/2012 4:01 PM
I just want consistency if other owners can do it why cant I?  If I cannot then why should others be allowed?  Thats all.  And others have done it im not the lone person I may be the most consistent in trying but not the only one.

If you think those three deals, and your vetoed deal, are similar, brian may have a point about being persecuted.
8/28/2012 4:09 PM

****, brian, you just admitted that you attempt deals that you'd veto.   That's so hypocritical that you should have your deals vetoed.   Don't ask for consistency and be inconsistent at the same time.

The one is tolerable in the sense that at least the money was even.  The first one that went through was horrendous and was a straight up salary dump. Talent was not commensurate or equal. brian's deal sucked worse and was vetoed. But the consistency that brian is asking for and claiming he is bringing to the table is absolutely fabriacted. THAT is my point. My deal is, in reality, inconsequential except in the timeline of things -- it's pretty amazing to me that he creates this entire issue and then proposes that trade to SP and thinks it's ok.

Like you just said.
