I'll make my not-so-triumphant return to LIVE play with.... Jim Corsi and Mark Portugal of the 1991 Houston Astros and 1999 Boston Red Sox. I'll play in the NL

Man, that is a shockingly good combo.  Mike Scott/Pedro/Lowe/Schilling/Saberhagen rotation is competitive...

I think I sat there for two days trying to figure out how to get that 1991 Astros team paired up with another good team. I had just about given up when I decided to go through a couple pairings one more time... then came up with the 1999 Sox to fill in what I needed (SP, RP, SS, C) that 91 Astros didn't have.

Can we use player-seasons from before 1945 as long as they're twisted off a team from 1945 or later?
3/26/2015 2:06 PM
Yes. Player seasons before 1945 are fine as long as the team is 1945 or later.

If its allowed than i'd like to take a 2nd team. The duo of Orlando Cepedo and Matty Alou - 1964 San Francico Giants + 1972 Oakland A's, in the NL.

I'm going to make a partial change. Remove Orlando Cepeda and Oakland. Replace it with Jose Cardenal and 1971 Cardinals

I have a small change to make. Drop dick groat for lindy mcdaniel...so, it's:
Ray sadecki and lindy mcdaniel,
62 cards, 67 giants.
