Well, the 5th overall pick in the 1983 draft was LB Billy Ray Smith Jr. from Arkansas.


If I did not already have 2 teams I would take jalejarrett's team. C'mon guys step up.

The answer to my story is Chargers linebacker, #54, out of Arkansas, Billy Ray Smith. His father, Billy Ray Smith SR, was a defensive lineman on the Colts Super Bowl 3 winning team as well.

Now, Billy Ray hosts a daily sports talk show in San Diego from 3-6 pacific time.

I'm still wondering about ronblood, and hoping he's ok. It's been ANOTHER day without any word after basically saying he was "ready to go" last weekend.
