My teams are a combined 98-100, but only 26-32 in one-run games, and run difference is 889-802. Hopefully that portends a bright future.

My teams have a very lucky 34-16 record in 1-run games... similar to asufan04 from last year. Regression caught up with him and he missed advancing to round 2 (he finished 33rd)..

The good news is that my record in 2+ run games is 72-40 for a .642 win%. So if I go .500 in all my remaining 1-run games, and keep the .642 going in 2+ run games, that equates to an average of 97 wins per team going forward. I'll take that all day.

We're still getting extremely lucky in 1-run games... 46-19 (.708), that's 12-3 sine my last update. We're a healthy .630 in games decided by 2+ runs (102-59). Waiting for the regression to hit and hit hard.

My actual winning percentage (.658) is higher than my expected winning percentage (.635) and that includes one mopup blowout win and one mopup blowout loss.

Despite having the interaction standings page, I'll continue to memorialize certain intervals. Next standings update coming after tonight's AM games, 25% of the way through the regular season

Thanks... that's what I did last year. Also, compiled W-L records for just the interval, to see biggest moves up and down.

Cool, we are on the same page. I really liked the 162 game breakdowns last year and plan to do them as well

Well it took until the 1/4 way mark, but I'm finally over .500. Hopefully that gives my teams a new level of energy, time to turn it up a notch! :)

At first glance i thought it was a D team, not a C...they are just plain hot. Your pitching shouldn't fizzle out. Sometimes a plan just comes together.

You found the balance between quality of modern pitchers and good hitting. My proposed C team was more slanted towards hitting, like schwarze's. Still good, but yours is definitely better.

Thanks. I mean I think I picked the right strategy, going with the $10 mil extra to spend and compensating for the missing defense with a pitcher's park and low #ERC pitchers. Plus that Honus Wagner was the most competent SS available at my cap.

But still, I have to assume they'll cool down from here. And now I wish I had drafted my Alphabet team as thoughtfully.

~25% of the way done the regular season. schwarze has not come down to earth yet, while doctorcc has made a run, and 7 people ranked below 50 are in top-24 spots. Very exciting start to the tournament.
