I posted the latest log report a few posts before this. If I try to run the recruiting tool, it just sits there and does nothing. But I can close it OK afterward. But if I try to use the game analyzer, it also just sits there and does nothing. However, I can't close it then. It is locked.

Same. I has to use Task Manager to close it

Realist, we aren't understanding each other. If I'm looking for recruits around the start of recruiting, if I have $0 into a recruit, using the tool can I see whether other schools are green vs yellow vs red (some effort even it's just putting them on my watch list)? I want to believe the answer is "no."

Yatzr currently doesn't have posting privileges in the forum because he hasn't had an active team in some time. If you could restore his posting privileges, I bet we'd get this worked out real fast.

By the way, the error stack posted earlier, according to a sitemail I got from yatzr, is an old bug that is unrelated to today's issue.

The tool cannot tell you how much effort a competitor has put into a recruit. Only if the recruit is considering a school (green) or multiple schools (yellow). If it doesn't show him considering a school, you can extrapolate that means he's "red" to that school, but that's it.

Yeah, it was working fine until yesterday pm. I thought maybe it was related to my computer/browser, but I see it's universal now. Definitely walking away if this can't be resolved this season.

Wish I had checked here first. Was doing all sorts of things thinking it was my computer.

This is not true. Plenty of people recruit quite well without the tool. Yatzr and Bhazlewood have done great work and contributed a lot, but a lot of users get by without either.

A lot of users get by is not the same as the tools are equal. My statement said the UI in GD is rudimentary compared to the YATZR tools and that is accurate. The unplayable part could be harsh but I think the value you gain in the recruiting front is extreme when using the tool versus not using. Just the ability to see green and yellow for the other teams is a key aspect I don't think is replicated in the GD UI.

Back up... the yatzr tool always showed my competitors whether I was green yellow or red on individual recruits?

Please tell me I'm misunderstanding that.

How cheap

Well -- they can see it anyways within the game if you click on a recruit and they search the same recruits as you. This just makes it easier to manage.

True, but the tool can give you a quick view of how many scholarship openings your competitor(s) have, how many players they have actively recruited (yellow or green), how many they have signed, etc. Also, the tool goes out and reads your scouting reports and fills in all the potentials in one fell swoop. That is invaluable.
