I am 16, I started playing when I was like 10 under another account, I was terrible. I started up again when I was 13, and I’ve been playing ever since. I’ve tried not to mention my age on the forums in the past because I didn’t want whatever I was asking or answering to be looked at differently.

All of my friends ask me what I am doing on my phone or computer and they are all interested, but when I say it costs money to try they lose interest. I think that this game could work really well with teenagers, but the investment is in the front end as opposed to the back end. I explain to my friends that I don’t spend any money on the game anymore, but that you have to spend time and money to get good enough to do that. Teenagers are not interested in that kind of system. Look at the success of Fortnite, it’s all because it is a free game, everyone goes “it’s free I might as well try it” and then after they are sucked in they spend money just to look cool, and now Fortnite if the most successful game of all time.

Congratulations! I tried getting my then eighteen year old interested back when I first started, and he was not thrilled. He actually played one season of the five pack I bought him, then started ghosting. It is not as much instant gratification for a younger guy as say XBOX or PS. He just plain got bored.

I salute you for hanging in and succeeding.

42. Original shoe3 is 21, started when he was 16, which was tough, since school was just starting to need more of his time. We’ve been playing a horse racing sim together since 2007, when he was 10, which he keeps up with. He keeps talking about coming back to HD, but probably not until he pays for it himself.
