Entering a Philly guy; 1894 c Dick Buckley 1,467,000
He fills the role of bench 1-1.5$
Gotta love a guy who hit .253 in 1894, probably the highest offense season in MLB history...that's roughly the equivalent of .120 today.

It is getting interesting. Most of the owners really love these pre 1900's guys, not sure why. I guess I will find out why soon. First year in this theme I now realize the name of the theme was SO MUCH Dick orientated. I get it now, my bad. Too bad Dick Butt Kiss (Bears) wasn't a baseball player instead of a HOF football player that would have been my pick. Or billy or bobby or steve COX

Glasscock is used quite a bit, and Browning rakes. Not all early players are good, but some sure are...Guys like Dan Brouthers and Roger Connor are favorites to play 1B in many leagues where early seasons are used.

This league is not about serious competition, but just for laughs. I don't think any team from here would ever win its TOC by any means...

What I show is that of a possible $79.5M spent, we have spent $75,707,821, for a savings of $3,792,179

If MY numbers are correct there has been $3,701,887 saved after 16 rounds...? And again IF my math is right, and the remaining 7 guys, uses every dime of the $7.25 Million available to draft, we would be $75,707,821 + $7.25 million = $82,957,821 used. Giving us at the very least $17 Million for last 2 players. Or am I missing something?

Hi c23, nice to see you again!
I was kinda against a time issue and picking at my slot was limited....So went for a high $ and a Philly guy. Wasn't the intention, but your research outcome makes it even funnier...
11/6/2019 1:09 AM
Sorry for delay... I'm going with 1944 Ed Head for RP 3 1.6 m
