Hey, can someone please tell me what the point of Candace's video was and what it contributes to the conversation? I've watched it, and I got nothing of substance. :)
Hmmm...........I'll post it so you can watch it again.

"They aren't black because they are Republicans"

You seem to think that Democrats have this sentiment of black conservatives. I wonder if there was an analogous thing that you do to us? I have faith that you can figure it out. What identity do people on the right say Democrats have lost with their vote? I hope and pray that we can talk about this.
Should we pray against violence?

Hey, if you want to believe that it's a coincidence that a former Anti-Trump liberal became a prominent "conservative" soon after she became unable to pay her rent, and discovered that she could make a lot of money off of it, you can. I, personally, doubt it. Look into her backstory. I think most reasonable people would agree that it's all an act.

If you disagree, that's fine. But I don't think my opinion is controversial or slanderous in any way.

People sometimes change parties. Mussolini did.

ONCE AGAIN: What did she say that isn't true?

If you want to believe it, you can. I think it lines up a bit too well.

She has made so many ridiculous statements at this point that her credibility is gone. If you want me to list through those, I can.

Is this video about Floyd's violent past? (which should not in anyway diminish the culpability of the officers involved or should be considered relevant at all to his tragic murder). Owens really isn't someone I tend to agree with.
It mentions Floyd's past, but in the context that he should not be someone any race should be upholding as some sort of role model.
It touches on many things.
Is anybody calling him a role model?

It doesn't matter what you've done. We live in a country of laws. Even if someone were a serial killer he/she wouldn't deserve to be brutally murdered by the police. The role of the police is to bring those people to the court system, where justice is supposed to be meted out according to our laws. If a suspect isn't posing an imminent threat to the officer(s) involved, or someone else, the officer(s) aren't supposed to use deadly force. Period.
Damn right.

What part of "she changed her entire philosophy to say the stupidest **** when she realized it could make her a lot of money" do you not understand?
This is kind of dirty, Tang. You are questioning her character when you literally have no idea what’s in her heart. Is it possible that maybe she had a paradigm shift that changed her world view? I am not a Candace Owens fan as find her arguments to be quite thin, but to question her character is just wrong.

UofA keeps citing a one-liner completely ignoring the context of her point in that speech. Yes. She set herself up for people to take her out of context, but I would hope that more people would have more class than that and actually respond to her argument rather than picking a single sentence that is worthless without context to rip her. I have watched that entire hearing and that is not what she was saying at all.

It does get frustrating to watch our society constantly attack the character of those in which we disagree. That solves nothing. It just pulls us further apart and will ultimately lead to the destruction of our country if something doesn’t give.
Dude, that line isn’t gonna fly in context either. It was dumb and messed up, because she’s just a grifting troll. But sure:

"Whenever we say 'nationalism,' the first thing people think about, at least in America, is Hitler. You know, he was a national socialist, but if Hitler had just wanted to make Germany great and have things run well, OK, fine. The problem is that he wanted — he had dreams outside of Germany. He wanted to globalize. He wanted everybody to be German, everybody to be speaking German, everybody to look a different way. That's not, to me, that's not nationalism. So in thinking about how we could go bad down the line, I don't really have an issue with nationalism. I really don't. I think that it's OK."

It’s almost worse in context. “The problem is that he had dreams outside Germany.” Oh, ok.
