evil-twin needs to take a NL team.

I'm sure szczubelek is working on clarifying some of the details, but one I am interested in is a question that cpmitchno1 asked in the prog forum:

"As a follow-up for clarification, it seems that a team could have Tony Oliva on IR in 62. Is that the case? "

The answer to this question will affect a few teams as they choose their keepers, which, I think we all hope will happen faster than this initial draft did.

I almost considered taking on the 1962 Mets, but I don't drink as much as I used to.

Based on how I read the rules, there can be no IR players in 1962, since we have no previous seasons. Am I reading that correctly?

You can only Draft a player who is not eligible in the season you are drafting if you use him as a hotdog (using previous seasons).

You can not draft someone and put them on IR at any time.

If you have someone already, you can put them on IR if they miss a season.

Based on above you are correct no IR in 62

We are supposed to be choosing our 8 keepers, but I haven't heard from szczubelek since the franchise draft ended.
