My boys that have played rep baseball (what we call travel baseball here in Ontario) have all played at Tip O’Neill field in Woodstock. I was last there for a game a couple of weeks ago. I always wonder how many players, parents, and fans actually have any clue who Tip O’Neill was and just how great his 1887 season in particular was. The first great Canadian player for sure.
