you're not a villain, you're just dumb. you were on this board earlier this week saying that the forum software automatically censuring slurs was a sign of authoritarianism. now you can't admit to being wrong when proven wrong. it's OK, some people just aren't very bright.
on the topic of inflated wages, you were whining earlier about how you can hardly afford to attend baseball games. sounds like maybe you need to work harder and make more money so you can afford to go. looking for a handout from the players union? don't want work hard enough to be able to afford baseball tickets like millions of other Americans?
Man...
I withdrew my comment on the censorship thing because I was wrong about WIS. No problem admitting that.
But what proof is there that I'm wrong here? You calling me dumb? Sorry to burst your bubble, but your opinion of me doesn't make me wrong. Your attempt to point to supply/demand even though you don't seem to grasp the concept? As others have rightly pointed out, supply/demand does come into play for postseason ticket prices when demand exceeds supply.
When I said I could hardly afford to go to games anymore, let me clarify that for you since you want to be presumptuous and insulting. I choose not to spend my money attending as many games as I used to because I don't want to pay the current prices. The exceptions were that I took my son to Opening Day every year for 17 years until covid ended that streak for us, and I took him to the WS during the years the Rangers didn't suck. A few other games when we visited Fenway and Yankee Stadium. Beyond that, I rarely go. I never go alone, on an afternoon lark, like I used to do when I was in college. The problem is I do work hard for my money, and I don't think it's a wise way to spend it to attend as many games as I used to.
It's unclear why you turned this so personal, but whatever is going on for you in your life that makes you so angry, I wish you the best. I'm not going to insult you personally because I learned long ago, we never know what someone else is dealing with in the private life.
