For the Good/Bad/Ugly, is clones just a flat yes? So I could pick ... let's say the 49 Red Sox qualify as bad and the 51 Red Sox are good ... and have 49 Ted Williams and 51 Ted Williams both on my team?
The Good, Bad, and Ugly teams all have to come from the same year.
Oh duh, yes, sorry!

I didn't go through all the questions so sorry if it was asked before

In the teammate chain, Bonds and Bonilla were teammates in Pittsburgh, but if I take 96 Bonds with the Giants, can I take a Bonilla season after 96 even if he's not on the 96 Giants???

No, Bonilla is not a teammate of Bonds on the 96 Giants so if you used 96 Bonds that would not be possible without a few other links in between.

As well, remember that every link has to alternate between a hitting and a pitching season.

But, for instance, if you had had 87 Bonilla on your team, you could then take 1990 Doug Drabek (he was on Bonilla's 87 Pirates) and then take 1996 Bonds (he was on Drabek's 1990 Pirates). Then you could take 2000 Rod Beck (teammates with Bonds on the 96 Giants), and so on.

Thx for the clarification, I know about the hitting pitching thing. I used a bad example but it does answer my question of past teammates that are no longer on the same squad.

Hopefully I can get my teams back on track in timecto get back in the cage.... been slumping lately

How are playoff points awarded for the overall standings? Is it just one point per win or does winning a championship give you more points?
8/7/2026 12:40 PM
This is from last year

Points will be awarded based on wins and playoff success. Points are awarded this way:

Regular season wins = 1 point each
Make playoffs = 2 additional points
Playoff wins = 1 point each
Wins Wildcard round = 2 additional points
Wins LCS = 2 additional points
Wins World Series = 5 additional points

* The top 24 owners in cumulative points from Round 1 (regardless of which leagues they were in) will advance to round 2. In Round 2, there will be another 6 themes (different from the first six themes). The same points formula will be used in round 2. Round 1 results will not be completely ignored in the final score. The weighting will be 33% for Round 1 and 67% for Round 2.... In other words, the cumulative Round 1 score will be divided by 2 and added to the Round 2 score to determine the Best Owner in WIS.

* Who is in which league will be determined as follows:

* In the event that one or more of the top 24 owners from Round 1 decide not to enter round 2, then the next best owners(s) from Round 1 will advance. In case of ties, the tie-breakers will be (1) regular season points (2) playoff points (3) best single team overall point total (4) second best single team overall point total, etc. If the tie still has not been resolved there will be a coin flip on random.org.
