oh and the Grant Hill being a great outside shooter thing...I want you to see the real data

Career 202/633 31.9% never attempted more than 114 threes in a season, never made more than 45

Worthy

Career 117/486 24.1%

Your memories are a tad more grandiose than fact.  This is like saying Hitler had a beef with Jews.

Nice pick with Amare tho...bad defender, but at least he has a better career D Rating than Worthy.

snydpie, actually, most of the teams here have at least as much offense if not more. (and Kidd is just NOT an offensive threat.  Look at his fta's.  Aren't slashers supposed to go to the line a lot?)
I don't see Amare or Worthy blocking any of these guys out in the post.   When you need an offensive rebound, you're in a bit of trouble.

...and easy layups and wide open shots?  I don't see that happening against a lot of teams here.   I like your team though, esp the front court.  We've all got strengths and weaknesses.

I'd say I have the best free-throw shooting team by far, not that it matters though lol

5 of my people shoot above 80% and mourning is 55% so besides him were pretty good also

With Shaq and Kemp, I'm way out of the running for best free throw-shooting team.  We'll draw fouls like mad, though.

Bernard King is the only sub 80% FG shooter I have.  My entire team is 2960/3489...not too shabby.

Sweg probably can't decide which guy from the 60s or 70s to Draft next.  He definitely has the All-Old School team.  Some of you guys weren't even born the last time any of his players took the court.

I could have seen Elvin but I doubt I did. Was 5 when he last played

One guy I have been considering for 4 rounds is STILL on the board. But in the end, I decided to go with a guy I saw play alot.. and a guy I always thought was underrated.

3 x all-star
3 x all-defensive team member

19th career in blocks and blocks per-game (probably the best non-center shot-blocker ever)
50th in nba history in offensive boards, 56th in defensive boards

LARRY NANCE

I think this finishes off my frontcourt nicely. I'm not sure how people are going to evaluate Walton or even how I get to use him in this tournament thing (limited minutes?). But I like my front court now. Nance can play PF or C, can rebound, can block shots, is a great defender, and a very efficient scorer. He was a career .546 shooter with a good post game and a good mid-range jumper. He also worked his way up to being an 80% ft shooter in his last few seasons. I wanted a solid defender/shot blocker/ who could play in the post and sink a jumper.. that's larry nance.  Oh yeah, he can slam it down too ( won the first nba dunk contest).

I was toying with Ho Grant/Larry Nance and a couple other guys. Horace going a couple picks before made it a bit easier. There is still another similar guy on the board from the 80s.

I promised when I took David Thompson that I would take a defensive stopper and a true pg later on. Mookie Blaylock is the guy.

6 time all-defensive team member. 4th alltime in steals per game and 5th in percentage. Not the greatest jump shooter thoughout his career but in total a 34% 3 point shooter who made over 1200 3s in his career. 3 seasons with 199+ 3s at 35.9%+  . Of course, he's a willing passer too with career 30.7% assist and one season over 40%. 29th career in assists.
