No.
I'm glad you asked. I think this is the most important game of the weekend. Not for the National Championship but for the schools and, possiby, a conference. I'll start with GA because it's the easiest. Richt is on the hot seat. Has been for a couple of years. They play SC in week 2. A loss to Boise and Carolina might force him out the door. If nothing else, he'll have no wiggle room with an 0-2 start. For Boise, it's another opportunity for them to prove they can play with the big boys. They've done well enough in previous games against the big conferences but now they may be playing for an AQ position. I believe the BCS re-evaluates the non-AQ conferences after this season to see if they should get an automatic berth. With Utah gone and TCU moving to the Big East next season, BS is pretty much the flagship school for the MWC(San Diego State and Air Force are good enough but they're not scaring anyone). So, if the MWC can qualify for an automatic BCS berth, Boise is looking good and the MWC is attractive to other schools. If not, not so much. With TAMU moving to the SEC, the B12 is going to go school hunting. It makes sense for them to raid the MWC and the WAC. And once one power conference goes to 14(and the SEC will next year), the other will follow. After that, it's only a matter of time until they move to 16. If you're not an AQ conference, you're losing schools to them. Schools with good football programs. A failure by Boise, Air Force and SDSU this year could doom the MWC and/or the WAC(who'll be raided by the Pac-16 since 3 of them are already moving to the MWC). All that said, both schools are going to be uber-prepared. I expect a close game and I expect BS to win due to experience. Georgia's QB is a 2nd year player and he doesn't have AJ Green this year.
