read the bold part of what you posted. Ward was the one who was punched, no? There's a problem with reading comprehension because there's a problem with someone posting various things and unable to decide what he wants to claim.

The rule is if you get an instigator in the final 5 minutes you are suspended 1 game. However, it always gets reviewed by the league to determine if it fits the spirit of the rule as it was put in, which is basically to prevent message sending for the next game for something that happened earlier or just general mayhem the league doesn't want.

In this case, they could very well withdraw the suspension as it doesn't appear to fit either criteria. Although I will admit I may be a bit biased here and the criteria is very vague. However, in other instances this year with Jordin Tootoo and Matt Walker and others that have gotten the draw on the other and popped them in the face, they weren't suspended. And this is the playoffs.

Sparky, he's refering to the cheap shot Ward gave Cullen that sparked the whole thing. I said he hit Cullen when he was down. That was incorrect, it was what caused him to fall face first to the ice.

Got it, my bad. He's got himself so confused that I honestly don't know if he knows what he is posting.

Given the suspensions already handed down during the playoffs to other players, don't expect it to get rescinded.

Obviously I could follow the conversation. So who is the confused one?

You, simply based on your posts. I made that clear in the post you quoted. Is it really that hard for you to understand?

I wouldn't be suprised if it was rescinded, but I don't expect it to be. By upholding the suspension they really aren't making a decision on anything. It's the easiest thing to do and what I full expect to happen.

Yesterday was Mother's Day, that's when you should have been thinking about all the things she's said in her lifetime.

If Ward has a broken orbital bone, then the NHL will suspend Walker. We all know the NHL bases suspensions on the opposing players injury.

The big question is whether Walker is a repeat offender? B/c if he is, I could easily see a multi-game suspension.

No suspension, $2,500 fine to Walker.

Looks like bb was right to not be surprised that it might happen.

I sure would like to know what was said that made Walker think he was in an altercation. LOL
